Wow! When you've sold your house, and getting ready to pack all your belongings to move over 1000 mi away, you get distracted from doing things you like to do -- like blogging!
We're really looking forward to living where the grass is green. The townhouse we've signed a 1-yr lease on is only a few miles from beautiful Clinton Lake. Can't wait to ride those mountain biking trails, and go swimming there. We are so stoked about the changes we are making in our life, and lifestyle.
We've even got walkie-talkies for the big move! Woo-hoo!

Our house inspection was yesterday. That was an interesting experience. We had to call PNM today and have them replace the line that feeds electricity to our house. Apparently it has gotten old and frayed. I think it's a good thing we got the house inspected!!! Overall, that was the only "serious" issue which came up, and PNM is replacing the line this afternoon.
The Eric MacFadden Trio, featuring our awesome bass playing friend, James, will be in Madrid at the Mineshaft Tavern tonight, at the Launchpad in Albuquerque tomorrow, and at the German-American Club on Jame's birthday. He'll be playing bass with his Dad that day. Sounds like a good time to me.
After a week like this, Lord knows I could use some fun!

A super-blogger entrepreneur named Joichi Ito, which CNN refers to as an "internet star", has this to say about blogging:
Ito believes blogging will one day prove as influential as the printing press.
"Blogging will fundamentally change the (way) people interact with media and politics and provide us with an opportunity to overhaul our outdated democracies," he said.
I tend to agree.

We are ecstatic. Our house sold in 2 days! Yowza! We already have a PO Box in Kansas.
I predict this month will be the "lost month". Our house closes on June 29.
