Wayne & I are actually going to be able to treat BOTH our mothers to a Mother's Day brunch on the day before Mother's Day this year. That is a FIRST for us! We are looking forward to it, since my Mom will only be in the area for a few days.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There's just something yummy about a Wendy's Frosty -- just the perfect amount of chocolate, just the right amount of not-too-frozen-not-too-runny consistency. I went on their website to look at the nutrition values, and even the sugars and saturated fat is pretty minimal for a fast food dessert item. We don't eat them very often, but we sure do enjoy them whenever we do.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Deep sympathies are extended upon the death of my Uncle Murdic to my Aunt Nita and all their family. We are all very sad at his passing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Spring is really springing!!! Birds singing!! Yards being mowed!! Trees & flowers blooming!!! Rain showers one day, warm sunshine the next, foggy mornings, windy afternoons!!!!
I'd forgotten what springtime was like where there's plenty of moisture for growing things!!! It's GREEN everywhere!!!
Woo-hoo!

BLOGGER BOGDOWN.
The last time I tried to post something to Blogger it simply wouldn't upload. I guess all the blogging had it bogged down. ***********************************
It sure was a nice day today. We decided to drive down to the south edge of town and walk the hiking/biking/blading/jogging trail that skirts the Wakarusa River down there. It was just great. What a relaxing spot to get some exercise. It's a well built well maintained paved trail that's nice and wide, with plenty of occasional benches to rest for a moment or simply enjoy a nice view along the way.
Lawrence. My kind of town.
