Well, it's just too darned hot around these parts for Feb 28! We shouldn't have to be turning on the A/C on Feb 28. grumble grumble ....
I guess I'm just in a grumpy mood for some reason. I'd be a lot happier if we had a few inches of nice white snow on the ground, and the kids across the street were building a snowman. I guess I'll just have to put up with only having to wear a light sweater when I go to work in the morning.
It seems as though March is strolling in like a well-groomed lamb. Let's see how things are in 31 days.

Well the cold arctic air is advancing south, along with plenty of frigid wind. We're going to hit teens and single digits at nighttime for the next week! Quite a change from the mild winter we've experienced since mid-Dec.
My viewing of Olympic competitions on TV has been rather limited, but I am so glad that we were able to catch SNOWBOARD CROSS!!!! It ROCKS!!! It's the most fun to watch of any sport competition I've seen. What a hoot! Cheers to Seth Wescott!
Don't have a whole lot to say about Johnny Weir.... I only caught his long skate, and it was quite lackluster, despite his fluffy attire.

We had light SNOW yesterday in Lawrence!! It was just lovely and lasted on and off all day long! What a treat!
Today the sun came out and the 1/2 inch we had on the ground is all gone. oh well.....
I think I am over the flu. I slept late both Saturday and Sunday, and am feeling pretty energetic for the first time in a week. Thank goodness for that. I'm not very good at being sick.

got the Weather Channel and my laptop to keep me company... when I'm not sleeping...
gonna make another cup of very hot tea -- going back and forth between Irish Breakfast and Green Tea w/Jasmine... putting honey in both

I just hate getting sick. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does it just makes me miserable. However, my hot tea with honey seems to be helping my sore throat quite a bit.
....gonna crawl back under the covers to sleep it off... hopefully tomorrow will see me feeling much better...

Here we go again.... another Super Bowl.....
We are baking a "take n bake" pizza from Papa Murphy's this evening. We picked it up right after we went grocery shopping this afternoon. No beer, just pizza. :)
KU came back to beat OK State this afternoon. Pretty exciting come-from-behind win by the Jayhawks.
