We're "re-living" our Disco Biscuits experience from the Wakarusa Festival. There is a download from archive.org from their recent show from the Wakarusa Festival in the Revival Tent (we saw this one on Thurs night of the festival!). Click that link and it will take you there!

They are such a total groove band!!! They just morph from one awesome groove to the next, seamlessly. You just can't stop bopping around to this groove. gotta luv it.........

Well, the Wakarusa Festival was totally awesome! We camped 3 nights, enjoyed fantastic live music, met really nice folks from all over the country, saw all kinds of strange folks from all over the country, and even endured searing temps in the 90s to have a wonderful, fun time. Thank goodness for my gallon of homemade lemonade. It was thoroughly hydrating, refreshing and mixed up really well with the Jack Daniels!

...woke up to an early morning thunderstorm...just a sweet little rainshower that got everything fresh and wet.

We had pitched our tent, including the rain cover, yesterday in the back yard to let it air out, and get a refresher course in setting it up. It didn't have any leaks! :) It took me over an hour of messing around with 2 camp lanterns to get them back up and running. One has a fluoescent bulb and the other uses a regular flashlight bulb. Both had some corrosion in the battery area from being in storage for a couple years. I got them all cleaned off, and new D-cells installed, and both are ready for our camping weekend!

Wa-hooooo!!! Wakarusa here we come!!

Lordy Mercy Me! It's been ages since I blogged! I guess all that holiday hubbub and being maxed out at work has taken it's toll on my alotted blogging time. hmmphff!

I woke up at 6:30 this morning, and when I turned over to look at the clock, my back just about killed me! Holy cow! I went back to sleep for a while, but when I woke back up my back was still giving me fits -- right between my shoulder blades, T5-6-7. Yowza. I called my chiro, whom I haven't had to visit for almost a year, and was in his office 30 min later getting my back and neck cracked -- but good! You should have heard T5-6-7-8 go CRRRAAAAACK!!!! simultaneously! It still amazed me how INSTANTANEOUS the relief is when the chiro gets those vertebra to go crack, and it doesn't hurt anymore. Thank goodness for good chiropractors.
