We didn't get very much sun yesterday, after the weather forecast was predicting a "sunny day"! Darn!!! We still haven't gotten an opportunity to get good photos of the fall colors around town. Oh well, I guess that's just the way it goes sometimes. More clouds today, with showers back in the forecast. It's definitely a good moring to sip my mocha.

I think my biorhythm is on a downswing today; I am totally tired after work this evening. That probably means I should go for a walk or bike ride... better get my butt out of this chair and go. now! ~*~*~*~*

Yes, FB is so freakin busy.... kinda like being in the middle of the 6-lane between SFO & SJO.
It's nice to come back to my solitude of a blog, and just ramble to myself. When I'm in more of a social mood, and just really WANT everyone and all my cousins and their cousins & in-laws and everyone in the world I'm FB friends with to read my note and comment on it, I'll jump on to FB. Right now, I'm just commenting to myself, for myself, by myself, like I've always done on my blog, and if someone else happens to check it out that's fine. But it's mainly for me, myself, & I, like it always has been. :-)
TIGF!!!! I will definitely be sipping from that fine growler of IPA that I picked up at 23rd St Brewery this evening. aaahhhhhhhhhhhh refreshment............

Another fine day in the neighborhood. Sunshine, blue skies and comfortable temps prevail on this Sunday morning. Now all I need is my soy mocha! I just better run downtstairs to the kitchen and fix a couple of those for our breakfast. :-)

Gettin' all geared up for MoKan this weekend!!! Woo-hoo!
It will be nice to have a 3-day weekend, and enjoy some great music. I plan to try out hula-hooping to see if I can get back into it. It's great exercise and I think I will really enjoy it, and even be good at if after working at it for awhile. We'll just have to see what happens. I plan on being rather sedate -- no overindulgences, just good, relaxing fun and tons of awesome live music!!!!! Plenty of iced tea and Coca-Colas, along with wonderful, fresh hot coffee, staight out of the press pot. As usual, I will dance my ass off. That's enough to keep any camping trip interesting.
Back to doing laundry....

It's springtime in Lawrence!!!
I just mowed the yard this evening, and it felt great! Everything is so green -- plenty of rain lately.
Been really busy at work, which is a good thing these days. All in all, no complaints.
Life goes on / Life is good.
